Deacons – Benevolence

Cory is a Gulf War Veteran from Wadsworth, Ohio. He became a disciple in the Las Vegas Church in 2009. He serves as a Deacon and with Hope LV. His beautiful wife, Alicia, is from Santa Barbara, CA. She became a disciple in the Las Vegas Church in 2006. She serves as a Deaconess and Leads the Women’s Chemical Recovery Ministry. Cory is a carpenter and Alicia works for OSHA. They were married in 2012 and have 5 adult children.

Jimmy & Aulii Giron

Deacons – New Member, Recovery

The Girons moved to Las Vegas with their two children in 2001. They studied the Bible and were baptized into God’s Kingdom in March 2002. Jimmy is a retired NCAA Basketball Referee and works in the airline industry. They enjoy working with our awesome Marrieds Ministry and serve God as house church leaders.

Mark & Amy Stadtmiller

Deacons – Benevolence

Mark and Amy have been married for 30 years. They have 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren. They became disciples in the Las Vegas Church in 1993 and have served in many ministries throughout the years. The Stadtmillers are members of the HOPE Worldwide Las Vegas Steering Committee and truly have hearts for those in need.

Justin Hatmaker

Deacon – Benevolence

Justin became a Christian in the Oahu Church of Christ in 1996 and moved to Las Vegas shortly after. He and his wife Deidre have been married for 17 years and have a 15 year old son. He enjoys serving and helping others. His heart is for people not to be alone when they need help.

Katherine Godwin

Deaconess – Recovery, New Member

Katherine Godwin has been a disciple of Jesus for over 30 years. She and her husband have served in various capacities at the GLVCC for over 20 years. The Godwins have two children. Katherine continues practicing as a nurse and has led several grief recovery groups.

Terri Frazier

Deaconess – Recovery

Terri Frazier became a Christian in 1990 while attending the University of Hawaii. She moved to the Las Vegas area in 2003, with her husband and two daughters. She has a BA in Psychology and is a Life Coach, as well as a reading tutor with the Clark County School District.

Lorraine Tabar

Deaconess – New Member

Lorraine is a retired legal secretary and travel agent. She became a Christian in Las Vegas in 1985. She has three adult children and served in the Boston Church and L.A. Church Offices from 1986 to 1994. She has a heart for people and hospitality.
